We began our day the way we always do: by checking our portfolio in the Investopedia Stock Simulator. This simulator allows us to try our hand in the real world stock market. When we finished this, we moved on to our presentations on more advanced topics. The presentations were about wills, bank accounts, and commodities.
After our presentations, we learned how to analyze companies and their stock. I chose to analyze Comcast. I learned about the telecommunications sector, the players in that sector, and how Covid affected Comcast stock. With all of this informations, we were able to make a desicion on whether our stock was a good choice or not. Following lunch, we went outside to discuss our book by Dave Ramsey. We discussed investments, retirement savings, and college tuition.
To end the day, Imaar helped us create a plan for our potluck. We learned to budget our money and make a shopping cart.
